Mission
It is the mission of the Richmond Sanitary District to reduce pollution and safeguard the public health by providing cost effective services and educating the public to reduce, reuse and recycle the community’s waste in conformance with local, state and federal statutes. These services will result in a constantly improving environmental quality of life throughout the District and adjoining communities.
